Visiting European Union institutions in Brussels and Paris

In frame of the project "Product and Chemical Safety in the Balkans – civil society cooperation on EU acquis and values for consumer and corporate responsibility" a study visit to different EU institutions was carried out during April 11-15, 2011. The participants of the study visit were representatives from WECF and BEF and additionally to project partners from Albania, Macedionia and Serbia also representatives of different institutions from their countries - government, environmental NGO and media.

The visits and discussions gave new knowledge on international requirements related to toys safety, RAPEX system and its relation to toys and cosmetic products. Additionally an important role was on getting to know more about REACH.
